We&#8217;d love to hear from you!<\/strong> Our client, a growing and well-established organization in the Raleigh area, is seeking a <strong>Credit Analyst<\/strong> to join their accounting and finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys analyzing financial information, assessing credit risk, and partnering with customers and internal teams to support sound business decisions.<\/p>\n<p>As the Credit Analyst, you will play a key role in evaluating customer creditworthiness, establishing and monitoring credit limits, and helping the organization balance sales growth with effective risk management.<\/p>\n<h3>Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<p>As the Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reviewing and analyzing credit applications, financial statements, credit reports, payment history, and other financial information<\/li>\n<li>Evaluating customer creditworthiness and making recommendations regarding credit limits and payment terms<\/li>\n<li>Establishing and maintaining customer credit files and ensuring documentation is accurate and current<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring existing customer accounts for changes in payment trends, exposure, and overall credit risk<\/li>\n<li>Performing periodic credit reviews and recommending adjustments to credit limits when appropriate<\/li>\n<li>Partnering with sales, collections, customer service, and accounting teams to resolve credit-related issues<\/li>\n<li>Investigating credit concerns and identifying potential risks before they impact the business<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing aging reports, account balances, and credit exposure to identify accounts requiring additional attention<\/li>\n<li>Communicating professionally with customers regarding credit documentation, account status, and financial information<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with reporting, account reconciliations, and other credit and accounts receivable activities as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<p>To be considered for this position, candidates should have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Associate&#8217;s or Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred<\/li>\n<li>2+ years of experience in credit analysis, credit and collections, accounts receivable, or a related financial role<\/li>\n<li>Experience reviewing financial statements, credit reports, and customer payment history<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of credit risk, accounts receivable, and basic accounting principles<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working within ERP or accounting systems<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify financial risks and trends<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<li>Professional, proactive, and collaborative approach to working with customers and internal business partners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Why Apply?<\/h3>\n<p>This is an outstanding opportunity to join a company that values collaboration, sound decision-making, and continuous improvement.
