This is an opportunity for someone with 3+ years of accounting, audit, fund accounting, or financial reporting experience who is interested in gaining broader exposure across multiple investment strategies and asset classes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Investment accounting and financial reporting across multiple asset classes<\/li>\n<li>Review fund administrator books and records and maintain internal accounting records<\/li>\n<li>Perform cash, position, and accounting reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Support NAV calculations, partnership allocations, expense accruals, and related reporting<\/li>\n<li>Analyze investment transactions, corporate actions, and supporting documentation<\/li>\n<li>Assist with annual audits and financial statement preparation<\/li>\n<li>Research U.S. GAAP and accounting treatment for investment activity<\/li>\n<li>Partner with internal Tax and Operations teams as well as external administrators and auditors<\/li>\n<li>Analyze large datasets and resolve accounting and reporting discrepancies<\/li>\n<li>Support accounting systems implementations, automation, and process improvements<\/li>\n<li>Gain exposure to SS&amp;C Advent Geneva<\/li>\n<li>Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s or Master&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field<\/li>\n<li>3+ years of accounting, audit, fund accounting, or financial reporting experience<\/li>\n<li>Investment management or financial services experience preferred<\/li>\n<li>Public accounting candidates with investment company or fund audit experience are encouraged to apply<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Excel skills<\/li>\n<li>SS&amp;C Advent Geneva experience is strongly preferred<\/li>\n<li>Power BI, automation, scripting, or reporting technology experience is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>$90K-$125K base salary + bonus<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Boston-based<\/li>\n<li>Hybrid schedule with two remote days per week after onboarding<\/li>\n<li>Comprehensive benefits<\/li>\n<li>Broad exposure across multiple investment strategies and asset classes<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to work on systems, automation, and process improvement initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please apply or reach out to Beacon Hill directly.
