The Payroll Specialist is tasked with the management and accurate processing of payrolls within a collaborative team environment. This role involves handling payroll administration for multiple clients and employees across various states. Responsibilities include ensuring the precise and timely processing of payroll entries, garnishments, direct deposit information, and employee set-ups.<\/span><\/div>\n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities <\/span><\/div>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
* Provides outstanding client service to engage clients.<\/span><\/div>\n
* Accurate and timely processing of all assigned payrolls.<\/span><\/div>\n
* Day-to-day payroll maintenance, including accurate and timely processing of payroll entries, garnishments, direct deposit information, and employee set-ups.<\/span><\/div>\n
* Establishes and maintains positive client working relationships; successfully contributes to high client retention rates.<\/span><\/div>\n
* Provides support and training to clients and employees regarding payroll software and general payroll needs<\/span><\/div>\n
* Analyzes clients’ needs and provides appropriate recommendations.<\/span><\/div>\n
* Performs analysis of completed payroll and troubleshoots data inconsistencies; identifies trends and potential issues, and recommends solutions.<\/span><\/div>\n
* Represents the team effectively; builds trust and credibility, and promotes transparency.<\/span><\/div>\n
* Processes payroll for stand-alone payroll clients as needed.<\/span><\/div>\n
* Maintains confidentiality of all client and employee information.<\/span><\/div>\n

Desired Qualifications (Knowledge and Skills)<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
* Four-year college degree, or equivalent experience<\/span><\/div>\n
* Minimum of 2+ years processing large volume multi-state payrolls<\/span><\/div>\n
* Experience with ADP and\/or Paycor<\/span><\/div>\n
* PEO\/human resources outsourcing experience a plus<\/span><\/div>\n
* Data entry experience and fact-checking experience preferred<\/span><\/div>\n
* Proficient with Outlook and the Microsoft Office suite<\/span><\/div>\n
