This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records for assigned <strong>hedge and private equity funds<\/strong>, performing reconciliations, preparing financial reports, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within <strong>fund accounting, investments, and financial services<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain accurate accounting records for assigned hedge and private equity funds<\/li>\n<li>Price and maintain investment holdings using external pricing resources<\/li>\n<li>Perform timely <strong>Net Asset Value (NAV) and cash reconciliations<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Prepare accurate and thorough accounting reports and packages<\/li>\n<li>Research and resolve cash position breaks and reconciliation discrepancies<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with external investment managers regarding fund transactions, fee payments, cash positions, and other inquiries<\/li>\n<li>Support <strong>year-end audit engagements<\/strong> and provide necessary accounting documentation<\/li>\n<li>Assist with due diligence and help ensure compliance with applicable regulations and GAAP standards<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with internal and external clients to provide timely and accurate fund information<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet client deliverables and deadlines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in <strong>Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Financial services experience preferred<\/li>\n<li>Internship or previous accounting experience is a plus<\/li>\n<li><strong>Intermediate to strong Microsoft Excel skills<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities<\/li>\n<li>Excellent attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple deadlines and client deliverables<\/li>\n<li>Strong customer service and relationship-building skills<\/li>\n<li>Interest in learning more about <strong>fund accounting, investments, hedge funds, and private equity<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Position Details<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Location:<\/strong> Oaks, PA<\/li>\n<li><strong>Schedule:<\/strong> Hybrid\n<ul>\n<li>Monday &amp; Friday: Remote<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday, Wednesday &amp; Thursday: Onsite<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Assignment:<\/strong> 3+ month contract-to-hire<\/li>\n<li><strong>Start:<\/strong> ASAP<\/li>\n<li><strong>Interview Process:<\/strong> One Microsoft Teams interview<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dress Code:<\/strong> Business casual<\/li>\n<li><strong>Parking:<\/strong> Available<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Ideal Candidate<\/h3>\n<p>The ideal candidate is <strong>analytical, detail-oriented, curious, and eager to learn<\/strong>.
