Candidates must be able to start immediately and be comfortable commuting to the office in White Plains daily. Pay rate is dependent on experience.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare legal documents including letters, correspondence, briefs, notices, pleadings, and motions.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor attorney deadlines, calendars, and communications.<\/li>\n<li>Assist attorneys with trial preparation and provide trial support as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate conference calls, video conferences and other communications.<\/li>\n<li>Process administrative items, including check requests and expense reports.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain electronic and hard-copy client files.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate large-scale document projects with Office Services.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with copying, scanning, and document organization.<\/li>\n<li>Open and close client matters.<\/li>\n<li>Provide general support to attorneys and the firm&#8217;s legal support team as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to commute to the office in White Plains five days per week.<\/li>\n<li>2+ years of legal assistant required.<\/li>\n<li>Law firm experience required.<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with New York and Connecticut state and federal court rules, procedures, filings, and e-filing.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with all aspects of New York foreclosure sales, including bankruptcy searches.<\/li>\n<li>Strong litigation and\/or bankruptcy experience.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient with iManage or similar document management systems.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient with redlining, track changes, table of authorities and table of contents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interested candidates should apply with a resume in Microsoft Word format for consideration.
