The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and dependable, able to manage cases independently while providing compassionate, professional service to clients during challenging times.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Duties<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist attorneys with family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, maintenance, adoption, and guardianship; draft petitions, motions, and pleadings for attorney review.<\/li>\n<li>Manage case deadlines, monitor court dockets, and handle e-filing and service of process.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and organize discovery, financial statements, mandatory disclosures, property distribution worksheets, and child support calculations.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare exhibits, trial binders, and witness materials for hearings, mediations, and trials, while keeping clients and attorneys informed of case status, deadlines, and next steps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of three years of family law paralegal experience (five or more preferred); degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field, or equivalent experience.<\/li>\n<li>Strong legal drafting and proofreading skills, with experience organizing discovery and reviewing financial documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, plus familiarity with electronic court filing and case and document management systems;
