This is a great opportunity for a paralegal with a strong background in commercial real estate who is looking for flexibility while remaining based in the Chicago area.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support attorneys throughout commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leasing matters<\/li>\n<li>Assist with transaction management from initial due diligence through closing and post-closing<\/li>\n<li>Review and organize title commitments, surveys, zoning materials, and other due diligence documents<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and coordinate closing documents, signature packets, closing checklists, and closing binders<\/li>\n<li>Track critical dates, deadlines, deliverables, and transaction requirements<\/li>\n<li>Assist with drafting and reviewing leases, amendments, assignments, estoppels, and related real estate documents<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with attorneys, clients, title companies, lenders, opposing counsel, and other transaction parties<\/li>\n<li>Organize and maintain transaction files and ensure documents are complete and accurately executed<\/li>\n<li>Assist with post-closing matters, including document distribution, recording coordination, and file completion<\/li>\n<li>Manage multiple transactions and priorities in a fast-paced remote environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of Commercial Real Estate paralegal experience<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience supporting sophisticated commercial real estate transactions<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with acquisitions, dispositions, financing transactions, leasing, and due diligence processes<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with title and survey materials and coordinating real estate closings<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Ability to independently manage deadlines and competing priorities<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable collaborating with attorneys, clients, and third-party transaction partners<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with standard document-management and Microsoft Office applications<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote environment<\/li>\n<li>Must be located in Chicago<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interested or know someone who may be a fit?
