This position will play an integral role in managing complex cases from inception through resolution, including court filings, legal research, document management, discovery, and hearing and trial preparation.<\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph-in-scc-markdown-text ___1ngh792 ftgm304 f1iaxwol\"> <\/div>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Manage and organize complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters from inception through conclusion.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Maintain case files, pleadings, discovery materials, correspondence, expert reports, and exhibits.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Track case calendars, filing requirements, key dates, and court deadlines.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Prepare and electronically file documents in federal and state courts using CM\/ECF and comparable e-filing systems.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Conduct legal and factual research using Westlaw, Lexis, PACER, and other legal research resources.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Review court rules, statutes, regulations, and case law and summarize findings for attorneys.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Draft, proofread, and edit bankruptcy-related documents, including proofs of claim, reaffirmation agreements, first-day motions, and fee applications.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Bluebook, cite-check, and Shepardize briefs and prepare tables of authorities.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Coordinate with clients, witnesses, experts, vendors, opposing counsel, and other external parties.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Support discovery, including document productions, interrogatories, and large-scale document review.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Work with electronic discovery platforms, including Relativity or comparable technology.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Assist with factual investigations and collection of relevant evidence.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Prepare exhibits, witness materials, and other materials for hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Provide in-person support during hearings and trials as required, including exhibit management and courtroom technology support.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Record billable time daily and meet an annual billable-hours requirement of approximately <strong>1,500 hours<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Provide backup support to other paralegals and assist with additional legal projects as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Required Qualifications<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Bachelor&#8217;s degree.
