The CFO will help strengthen the company&#8217;s financial infrastructure while providing leadership with greater visibility into business performance and opportunities for continued growth.<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will combine <strong>strong financial and accounting fundamentals with a practical, operational approach<\/strong>. Experience in businesses with broad product portfolios, inventory, manufacturing or distribution operations, and meaningful product-cost complexity will be particularly relevant.<\/p>\n<p>This position requires an executive who is comfortable operating at both the strategic and hands-on levels, capable of communicating with senior stakeholders while remaining close to the financial and operational details of the business.<\/p>\n<h2>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/h2>\n<h3>Executive &amp; Financial Leadership<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner with the CEO and executive leadership team on financial strategy, business planning, resource allocation, and organizational priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Provide timely financial analysis and actionable insight regarding company performance, opportunities, and risks.<\/li>\n<li>Translate financial results and operating data into clear recommendations for senior leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Support the company&#8217;s long-term strategic objectives and future corporate initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Accounting, Controls &amp; Financial Reporting<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide leadership across accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and internal controls.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain high standards for financial accuracy, discipline, compliance, and accountability.<\/li>\n<li>Continuously improve monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes.<\/li>\n<li>Enhance the quality and usefulness of management reporting across the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the finance function and underlying processes can appropriately support a growing and increasingly complex business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Operational &amp; Commercial Finance<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop meaningful financial insight into product, customer, channel, and business-unit performance.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with operational leaders to improve profitability, working capital management, cost visibility, and resource utilization.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee financial analysis associated with inventory, product costing, pricing, and margins.<\/li>\n<li>Strengthen forecasting, financial modeling, KPI reporting, and other decision-support capabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Help leadership identify opportunities to improve operating performance while supporting sustainable revenue growth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Finance Organization Leadership<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead, develop, and mentor the company&#8217;s finance and accounting organization.<\/li>\n<li>Assess organizational structure, capabilities, systems, and processes as the company&#8217;s needs evolve.<\/li>\n<li>Develop talent and create appropriate levels of accountability throughout the finance function.<\/li>\n<li>Promote effective partnership between finance and the company&#8217;s commercial and operational teams.<\/li>\n<li>Build processes that allow the finance organization to scale effectively with the business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Corporate Development &amp; Strategic Initiatives<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide financial leadership for acquisitions, investments, partnerships, or other strategic initiatives as appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in financial evaluation, due diligence, transaction planning, and integration activities.<\/li>\n<li>Help ensure financial systems, controls, reporting, documentation, and business processes are prepared to support future corporate initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Work with executive leadership and external advisors on significant financial and strategic matters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>CANDIDATE PROFILE<\/h2>\n<p>The successful candidate will ideally offer:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Significant experience as a <strong>CFO or senior financial executive<\/strong> within a product-oriented organization.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in manufacturing, distribution, healthcare products, specialized technology, industrial products, scientific products, or another operationally complex environment.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated understanding of businesses involving <strong>inventory, substantial product breadth, product costing, and margin management<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Strong command of accounting, financial reporting, controls, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working within a <strong>professionally sponsored, investor-backed, or similarly sophisticated ownership environment<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Previous involvement with acquisitions, integrations, recapitalizations, ownership transitions, or other significant corporate transactions.<\/li>\n<li>A track record of developing finance teams, improving financial processes, and introducing greater visibility and accountability into an organization.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively across finance, operations, sales, supply chain, and executive leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication, judgment, and executive-level presentation capabilities.<\/li>\n<li>A hands-on leadership style and willingness to work directly with financial details when necessary.<\/li>\n<li>CPA, public accounting, or comparable technical accounting experience is preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>LEADERSHIP CHARACTERISTICS<\/h2>\n<p>The organization is seeking a finance executive who is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strategic while remaining operationally engaged.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial and evolving environment.<\/li>\n<li>Analytical and financially rigorous without becoming overly process-driven.<\/li>\n<li>Able to challenge assumptions constructively and provide an independent financial perspective.<\/li>\n<li>Effective at developing teams and raising the capabilities of the finance organization.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable communicating with executives, investors, advisors, and operating leaders.<\/li>\n<li>Capable of balancing immediate business requirements with longer-term organizational development.<\/li>\n<li>Highly professional, discreet, and accustomed to handling sensitive information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>CONFIDENTIAL SEARCH PROCESS<\/h2>\n<p>This search is being conducted on a confidential basis.
