Full-Charge Bookkeeper
We are seeking a detail-oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day accounting operations of our client’s organization. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience overseeing the full accounting cycle, is comfortable working independently, and can take ownership of accounting processes from transaction-level work through financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, bank and account reconciliations
Assist with preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
Maintain and reconcile cash accounts, credit cards, and expense reports
Coordinate with external partners such as CPAs, auditors, and tax preparers
Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within accounting operations
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or hands-on accounting experience
Strong knowledge of the full accounting cycle and financial statement preparation
Proficiency with accounting software and solid Excel skills
