Our client, a manufacturing company located in Schaumburg, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role will be to help satisfy our customers by ensuring orders are entered and their needs met. The ideal candidate will hold themselves accountable for the quality and timeliness of your work. This is a contract position with the opportunity to go permanent. The hours are Monday-Friday 8-5pm onsite. Responsibilities:
· Confer with customers by telephone and email to provide information about products, services, or orders.
· Ensure accuracy of orders
· Make sure orders are entered and processed on time
· Troubleshooting product issues with customers
· Phone etiquette – able to discuss and understand customers’ needs
· Able to navigate multiple resources to find answers for customers
· Support a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
· Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of relevant experience of customer service experience in an office setting
· Good written and oral communication
· Basic computer skills such as Microsoft programs, SAP a plus
· Ability to prioritize work
· Accountability for his/her actions
· Adapts well to changes in duties and procedures
· Good follow up skills
