We have a growing client located in Aurora, IL looking for a Supply Chain Assistant. This is an entry-level position responsible for supporting the supply chain team through accurate data entry, work order management, and demand planning activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth operations by maintaining precise records, converting data, and assisting with ERP system updates. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn within a fast-paced environment. This is a contract role with the potential to turn into a permanent position. The hours are 8-5pm Monday through Friday in their new Aurora, IL office.

Responsibilities:

· Enter and maintain work orders in the ERP system to ensure accurate and timely processing.

· Assist with work order management, including tracking progress and resolving discrepancies.

· Support demand planning activities by updating and verifying data in relevant systems.

· Perform data entry and conversion tasks to maintain accurate supply chain records.

· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely communication and workflow alignment.

· Generate and update reports using Microsoft Excel to support supply chain analysis.

· Assist in monitoring inventory levels and flagging potential shortages or delays.

· Provide administrative support to the supply chain team, including document preparation and filing.

Requirements:

· 1+ years of experience in a supply chain, logistics, or administrative support role (internship experience acceptable). Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong Excel skills.

· Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience preferred.

· Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new processes and tools.
