Our client is seeking a temporary Human Resources Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support to employees and HR teams. The HR Generalist will handle complex HR inquiries, partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors, and ensure consistent, accurate administration of HR programs. This temporary position covers a leave of absence and requires on-site work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Provide second-tier HR support by resolving escalated employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, leave programs, and general HR processes.
- Serve as a liaison with vendors and third-party administrators to support HR program administration, compliance, and reporting needs.
- Develop and deliver employee communication materials related to HR programs, policies, benefits, and compensation.
- Support global and regional HR initiatives including wellness programs, annual notices, compliance testing, program renewals, and cyclical HR processes.
- Coordinate wellness and engagement activities such as biometric screenings, incentive programs, and employee events.
- Administer HR transactions including benefit changes, COBRA coordination, FMLA and short‑term disability processes, and monthly HR/benefits billing.
- Assist with audits and regulatory filings such as 5500s, SARs, government reporting, and policy documentation.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with company policies, plan rules, and federal/state regulations.
Requirements:
- Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 4+ years of HR experience with exposure to benefits, employee relations, HR operations, or compliance.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms; Oracle experience preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for reporting, auditing, and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to HR and benefits administration.
- Exceptional communication and problem‑solving abilities with the ability to support employees and partners with cross‑functional teams.
