Our client, a financial services organization located in Elgin, is seeking Customer Service Representatives to support their Operations Team. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and assisting clients with accessing services in a professional and welcoming manner. The ideal candidate has a friendly, customer-focused demeanor and the ability to resolve issues efficiently. This is a contract position with the opportunity to convert to a permanent role. Multiple shifts are available, including weeknights and weekends.
Responsibilities:
Provide front-line customer service support to clients in person and over the phone in a professional and courteous manner.
Respond to incoming calls, schedule client appointments, answer questions, and provide accurate information regarding services.
Collect client fees and required documentation while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
Perform ongoing administrative and data entry tasks, including maintaining and updating client records.
Distribute agency mail and assist with daily opening and/or closing procedures.
Support team initiatives and projects as directed by management.
Participate in staff development and training activities as needed.
Qualifications:
At least one year of customer service or office experience required; High school diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a cooperative, team-oriented attitude.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive information professionally.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially regarding client records and documentation.
Ability to work effectively under deadline pressure and manage multiple tasks with appropriate prioritization.
