We are partnering with a community‑focused organization in Oak Park, Illinois, seeking a Part‑Time Front Desk Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations and provide exceptional customer service. Job Responsibilities

Serve as the primary front‑desk contact, greeting visitors, clients, and staff in a professional and friendly manner

Answer and route incoming phone calls, respond to general inquiries, and provide information as needed

Manage scheduling, meeting coordination, and conference room reservations

Assist with mail distribution, package handling, and office supply inventory

Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, scanning, and document preparation

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area

Assist staff with basic administrative needs and special projects as assigned

Handle check‑ins, sign‑ins, and visitor logs in accordance with organizational procedures

Provide general support to ensure smooth daily office operations
Requirements

1-3 years of administrative, receptionist, or front‑desk experience

Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor

Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse groups of people

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools

Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a busy environment

Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working onsite in Oak Park
