Beacon Hill is partnering with a well-established local construction company in Monmouth Junction, NJ to hire an Accounting Clerk specializing in AIA Billing. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering strong potential for long-term growth, stability, and excellent benefits upon conversion.
This role is ideal for someone with construction accounting experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is looking to grow within a reputable organization.
Pay: $30hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, on-site, 8:00-5:00
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process AIA billing (G702/G703 forms) for construction projects
- Track project costs, budgets, and billing schedules
- Work closely with project managers to ensure accurate and timely invoicing
- Manage waivers, invoices, and compliance documentation
- Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve client/vendor issues
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
- Maintain organized financial records and support month-end close processes
Qualifications:
- 1-3+ years of accounting or billing experience, preferably in construction
- Hands-on experience with AIA billing required
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and job costing
