We’re working with a private equity-backed services and construction platform undergoing rapid expansion to hire a Director of Finance / Controller. This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to leadership and a clear path to a future executive position.
The business is executing an active roll-up strategy, combining construction and recurring service lines across a multi-location platform, with several acquisitions in progress and more in the pipeline.
What You’ll Do
- Lead financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis across multiple entities
- Own job costing and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition
- Build and standardize processes, controls, and reporting
- Partner closely with operations and field teams
- Support M&A integration and scaling efforts
- Help lead upcoming ERP (NetSuite) implementation
- Manage and develop a growing accounting team
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with percentage-of-completion accounting and job costing
- Background in construction, services, or project-based environments
- Proven ability to build processes in a growth setting
- Strong communicator with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
- Ready to step into a broader leadership role
