Legal Biller – Baltimore, MD
Beacon Hill Financial has partnered with a client in Baltimore, MD looking for a legal biller to join their team. This position is responsible for preparing and submitting accurate legal invoices in accordance with client guidelines, monitoring billing discrepancies, and ensuring timely payments through coordination with attorneys and clients. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit high-volume client invoices in compliance with billing guidelines and firm policies
- Utilize Aderant software to generate pre-bills, finalize invoices, and track billing activity
- Collaborate with attorneys and practice groups to ensure accurate billing entries and resolve discrepancies
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment and address client inquiries
- Maintain organized billing records and support month-end billing cycles and reporting
- Handle adjustments, write-offs, and e-billing uploads through various client billing portals
