A medical device company located in Northbrook is looking for a temporary File Clerk to assist in a critical project required for an upcoming audit. This estimated length of this assignment is 6-8 weeks. This position reports to the Office Manager and will be responsible for the files and storage of confidential Human Resources documents.
Responsibilities:
- Create and add material to hard copy files as needed for record keeping.
- Prepare and file hard copies of Human Resources documents while maintaining confidentiality.
- Update database of digital records for redundancy.
- Find and correct mail address errors.
- Conduct routine verification to ensure integrity of filing system.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of general office experience, including filing.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- High attention to detail and organization.
