Overview:
The Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) is responsible for overseeing all pharmacy operations, ensuring financial stability, and directing the management team. The PIC formulates growth strategies, ensures compliance with regulations, and leads daily pharmacy functions.
Schedule:
1 Full-Time opening (40 hours M-F)
1 Part-Time opening (20 hours, flexible, M-F)
Qualifications:
-B.S. or Doctor of Pharmacy degree (or registered pharmacist license for foreign graduates).
-Active Iowa pharmacy license
-3+ years of clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
-Oversee pharmacy operations, staff, and services.
-Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
-Manage inventory, purchasing, and employee training.
-Participate in quality improvement, goal setting, and accreditation processes.
-Assist with budgeting, marketing, and billing as needed.
