One of our clients in Kent, WA is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to support their accounting team during a busy period. In this position, you will:

• Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
• Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
• Reconcile vendor statements and maintain vendor records
• Assist with month-end close activities, including AP accruals and reporting
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
• Work closely with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues
• Support additional accounting and finance projects as needed

To be considered for this opportunity, you should have:

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience
• Experience processing invoices in a high-volume environment
• Knowledge of invoice matching and payment processing
• Experience researching and resolving discrepancies
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP/accounting systems
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset
