Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Overview:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing plant equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role also contributes to process improvements and equipment upgrades. The technician should be proactive, self-driven, and capable of working independently.
Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production machinery and equipment to minimize downtime, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.

Maintain, inspect, and repair facility systems, including electrical, lighting, plumbing (hot/cold water), compressed air, and waste water systems. HVAC experience is a plus.

Monitor and manage maintenance inventory, reviewing stock levels and ensuring preventive maintenance schedules are followed.

Maintain and service all maintenance tools, equipment, and facility infrastructure.

Deliver high-quality service and communication to both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors and management, including occasional overtime.
Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required; basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and ability to interpret percentages, ratios, and simple graphs.

Minimum five years of experience in industrial maintenance.

Forklift operation experience required; proficiency with computers and maintenance management systems.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.

Ability to evaluate issues systematically, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Skills & Competencies:

Broad technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical maintenance.

Capable of following logical diagnostic processes to resolve complex equipment and facility issues.

Adaptable, innovative, and able to handle a wide range of maintenance challenges.
Safety & Compliance Training:
-
Training in forklift operation, hazmat, confined space, fall protection, food safety, GMP, and respiratory equipment use as needed, in accordance with company safety standards.
