Data Engineer

This role sits within a global data and analytics function and supports ongoing data platform initiatives, including data warehouse and data lake environments. The position works across teams to develop and maintain data solutions aligned with internal standards.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and technical requirements into data integration solutions using ELT/ETL approaches.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support data movement and system connectivity across platforms.
• Contribute to development efforts by applying structured processes within an agile delivery model.
• Validate and assess data outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Participate in maintaining and enhancing shared data platforms and related assets.
• Follow established development practices, including version control and code management standards.
• Document workflows, processes, and implementation details to support repeatability and team alignment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or analytics-focused roles.
• Experience working with relational databases, including SQL Server or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data tools (e.g., Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory) or comparable technologies.
• Experience working in iterative or agile development environments.
• Ability to manage deliverables and work within defined timelines.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate across distributed teams.
