Description:
Plans, designs and deploys large scale complex systems, including enterprise infrastructure, information systems, ERP applications, and internet technologies. Projects typically involve on both software and hardware components. Evaluates existing systems to understand capabilities and recommend solutions. Works with non-technical business owners to understand needs and develops a technical solution. Participates in the layout design and installation of new systems or modification of existing systems. Develops and manages systems integration projects. Identifies and resolves existing system deficiencies. 2 – 5 years of experience. Title: Telephony System Engineer II

Project Details: Project is focusing on migrating legacy Avaya phone switches to Cisco. planning to decommission 2 out of 4 in 2024 and remaining 2 in 2025. Project is in discovery. switches need to be decommissioned, what phone are registered, and what numbers are active. still lots of discovery to do.
Important Skills Technical – 2-5 years of experience in telephony . Bat Files, Cisco experience, configuring CUCM

D2D: loading all data into their new national switch. data will be coming from another team and will include info like name, extension and voicemail. Responsible for building out BAT Files (Cisco specific), building Voicemails, configuring CUCM, and testing numbers to make sure they work (calling them make sure the call goes through)
Hours / Shift (if applicable): M-F 8-5; could be some after hours work as needed during cutovers
