This is a customer service opportunity with a distribution company in Des Plaines, IL. You will be required onsite Monday – Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage quotations, sales orders, and purchase orders with precision. Ensure all details, including ship dates, instructions, information and pricing, are accurately confirmed.
- Responds to a minimum of 40 calls per day in an inbound call center.
- Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries and complaints.
- Handle inbound calls and emails promptly. Provide detailed product and service information, process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately.
- Provide status of orders, quotes, returns, product audits, credits and invoice rebill
requests. - Track order shipments and provide proof of delivery upon request.
- Provide basic account balance information for account invoices due to payment. May be
required to processes customer credit card payments. - Process document requests.
- Process credit and debit memo requests that fall within department policy
What We Need From You:
- Experience: At least 2 years in a customer service role within a fast-paced and dynamic organization.
- Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attributes: A positive “can-do” attitude, strong multitasking abilities, excellent time management, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Mindset: Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on meeting and exceeding customer needs.
