My client, a boutique Investment Management Firm in Midtown Manhattan, is looking to hire a Senior Accountant (2+ years experience) to join the team. This is a newly created role due to growth which is very exciting and indicative of the position of the firm. You will work alongside the Controller and the other Senior Accountant as well as the Operations Manager and will be responsible for performing various accounting functions such as year end tax documentation, maintaining cash dashboard to facilitate accurate cash flow monitoring, conduct confirmation calls to verify wire details, and perform ACH transactions. You will reconcile cash flow, work with the fund administrators, and present quarterly management reports to stakeholders. Additionally, you will assist in pulling cash balances, and NAVs into balance sheets for partners as well. You will have a ton of exposure to the business and the deals and work alongside an impressive team that all have CPA’s and come out of the Big 4 at some point in their career. You must be able to work independently, have strong work ethic and commitment to integrity, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Communication and collaboration are a must in this role as they are a very intimate team that rely on each other. They are in the office 4 days with 10 remote days annually, as well as the full month of August remote. You also get to work remotely the week between Christmas/NYE and Thanksgiving.
