Coral Gables law firm has an opening for an experienced Legal Assistant for the community association practice. This is a full-time onsite role. A minimum of five years’ experience in community association and condominium law is required.
Job Duties:
- Provide administrative support to two lawyers.
- Manages calendar and scheduling.
- Draft letters, meeting packages, amendments, and agreements.
- Interacts with potential and existing clients as required.
- Processes attorney expense reports.
- Registers attorney’s CLE credits with Florida Bar.
- Have knowledge of state and federal court procedures.
- Ability to maintain files organized document management system (PerfectLaw DMS).
Skills/Qualification
- 5 + years’ experience as a litigation legal assistant; experience in condo association law is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Outstanding time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion and good judgment.
- Must have strong computer skills to learn new software, if needed.
- Knowledge of PerfectLaw DMS is a plus.
