Collection and Foreclosure Paralegal

A national law firm seeks a Foreclosure Paralegal to join their Fort Laudedale office. This position will provide support to the attorneys in the collections and foreclosure department and will perform the following tasks: preparation of all foreclosure pleadings, demand letters, complaint packages, notices of hearings, foreclosure pleadings including motions for summary judgment packages, final judgments, and the notices of sale. Will also be responsible for drafting notices and scheduling hearings.

Must have an understanding of the provisions of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and related state laws. Two or more years of related experience required. Paralegal studies or certificate preferred.
