Our client, a top-ranked medical device company is seeking a Customer Service Representative in their Bloomingdale, IL location. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ experience in customer service or call center experience within an office setting. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining excellence in client service and handling the day-to-day responsibilities of communicating with other departments including sales teams and colleagues. This is a temporary position with the opportunity to go permanent. This role is an onsite role. The hours would be an 8 hour shift, Monday through Friday between 7am-7pm. Flexible availability is ideal.
Responsibilities
- Act as liaison between internal departments on updates for customer questions
- Work with team to answer customer questions regarding complex product line.
- Work with team and assist with quoting tasks
- Handle distributor requests and inquires
- Data entry into system (SAP) accurately and quickly
- Managing calls and emails professionally and promptly
- Internal and external customer service, would be involved with customers directly
Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service or call center experience, bachelor degree preferred
- Strong customer service skills including time management and prioritizing daily work.
- Computer savvy with experience in MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word. SAP experience out be a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cross functional dynamic team environment
- Ability to maintain positive, professional demeanor always.
- Attention to detail, ability to proofread
- The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, reliable, and would require minimal direct supervisiononce trained.
