We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Application Coordinator to join our on-site team in Atlanta. This role plays a critical part in supporting our clinical and revenue cycle operations by managing the design, configuration, testing, validation, and ongoing optimization of Epic applications. The right candidate will work closely with both technical teams and clinical/financial stakeholders to build efficient, user-friendly systems that support future-state workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, setup, and maintenance of assigned Epic modules, ensuring alignment with clinical or financial workflows.
- Obtain and maintain required Epic certifications while staying current with system updates and best practices.
- Provide advanced, Tier III-level support for Epic applications, including periodic 24/7 on-call coverage.
- Implement approved configuration updates and enhancements within the Epic environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including clinical and financial departments, to develop future-state workflows and translate them into system design.
- Serve as a liaison between the Information Services team and stakeholders such as physicians, staff, and other Epic users across the organization.
- Foster strong working relationships with colleagues to support smooth communication and system adoption.
Required Qualifications:
- Education:
- A bachelor’s degree or active clinical licensure (e.g., RN, pharmacy, radiology, respiratory therapy, or similar field).
- In place of a degree or license, at least four (4) years of relevant experience in healthcare, business administration, science, or IT.
- Experience:
- A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in healthcare or IT.
- At least one (1) year of direct experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, preferably Epic.

- Epic Cadence (scheduling module) is required.
- If the candidate lacks a degree or clinical license, a total of seven (7) years of experience is required.
- Licensure/Certification:
- No license required by law for this role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Epic certification or an active Epic proficiency score of 90 or above.
- At least one year of hands-on experience working with Epic in a clinical or IT setting related to the role.
