A financial services firm in north Austin is looking to bring on a Recruiter to join their team! This is a fully onsite role M-F. Pay is $30-38/hr depending on experience. This role is starting as a contract with the potential to get hired on permanently. Candidates must have experience recruiting in credit union or banking industries to be considered.
Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the full-cycle recruitment process for a range of roles across departments such as Member Services, Lending, Operations, and internal support.

Collaborate with hiring managers to assess department needs and tailor recruitment strategies accordingly.

Source candidates through job boards, referrals, social media platforms, and community outreach.

Ensure all recruitment practices remain compliant with internal policies and applicable employment laws (FCRA, EEO, etc.).

Coordinate interview logistics, extend offers, and assist with onboarding to ensure a smooth candidate experience.

Monitor and report on recruiting activity and trends, providing insights and regular updates to leadership.
What You Bring

Must have 2+ years of recruiting experience in financial services, banking, or credit union sectors.

Proven success in recruiting for a wide range of roles, from entry-level positions to management-level professionals.

Solid understanding of employment laws and compliance standards.

Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a high degree of professionalism.

Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office tools.

Familiarity with community-focused service models and an appreciation for mission-driven organizational culture is a plus.
