Key Responsibilities:
- Track expenses, process invoices and payroll, and manage bill payments.
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit reporting requirements.
- Provide admin support to the Executive Director and Director of Philanthropy.
- Coordinate with external accountants for monthly financial reporting.
- Maintain donor records and assist with donor communication.
- Enter and manage data for programs and fundraising.
- Generate financial and donor-related reports.
- Process donation acknowledgment letters.
- Help with event planning and volunteer coordination.
- Track in-kind donations and volunteer hours.
- Manage office supplies, vendors, and administrative tasks.
- Answer phones and monitor the organization’s email account.
Requirements:
- Experience in office management, bookkeeping, or administration (nonprofit experience a plus).
- Proficiency with QuickBooks (or similar accounting software), Google Workspace, and donor databases (Salesforce experience a plus).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse groups and community partners.
- A positive attitude, team spirit, and flexibility to adapt as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Willingness to occasionally work weeknights or weekends.
