Contract-to-Hire Opportunity: Accounting Assistant
Location: Macedonia, Ohio
Pay Rate: $22-$27/hr (depending on experience)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a growing company in Macedonia, Ohio. The ideal candidate will support various accounting and administrative functions, including billing, scheduling, payroll processing in Paycom, and coordination with internal departments and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

Billing & Invoicing: Support the billing cycle by generating and reviewing customer invoices to ensure accuracy and timeliness

Payroll Support: Assist in processing payroll using Paycom, ensuring compliance and accuracy

Scheduling & Calendar Management: Coordinate company calendars, schedule meetings, and support daily administrative needs

Customer Service: Respond to customer and vendor inquiries promptly and professionally

Contract & Vendor Coordination: Work with department managers and external vendors to support project-based assignments or service contracts

RFP Assistance: Help prepare documentation and materials for Requests for Proposals

Support Estimating & Measuring: Provide administrative support to estimating teams as needed

Inside Sales Backup: Serve as a backup to the inside sales team during high-volume periods or absences
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:

Experience with Paycom or other payroll software preferred

General understanding of accounting practices and administrative processes

Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams

Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems
