A manufacturing company in Buffalo Grove is looking for a talented Customer Service Representative. Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and e-mail.
- Enter customer orders received via EDI, e-mail and the website.
- Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues to appropriate departments when necessary.
- Expedite requests for early product shipment when quoted delivery is unacceptable.
- Coordinate with the Logistics team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing team to address product availability and stock-related inquiries.
- Document and contact customers with any change to order status.
- Assist with troubleshooting common issues and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Identify customer needs and provide proactive solutions to improve their experience.
- Collaborate with team members to share insights and develop better processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Ability to work effectively on a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems / IFS preferred.
- 5+ years related experience.
Fluent in French (preferred)
