We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of our residential community. In this role, you will be an essential partner to the Property Manager, helping ensure smooth, efficient management of the property while delivering exceptional service to residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the processing of move-out notices, maintenance requests, and resident transfer paperwork
- Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices while ensuring alignment with budget guidelines
- Coordinate scheduling and follow-up with vendors and contractors; resolve invoice discrepancies
- Support lease renewal campaigns and contribute to resident retention strategies
- Handle day-to-day resident communications and service requests; help mediate and resolve concerns professionally
- Oversee rent collection activities, issue late payment notices, and ensure accurate rent posting
- Conduct inspections of vacant units and model apartments to ensure readiness for new move-ins
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Property Manager or regional leadership team
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in leasing, property management, or a related customer service role
- Bachelor degree preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed
- Physically able to tour the property and navigate stairs
- Valid driver’s license may be required depending on property location
