Description:
Our client is seeking a Network Technician to join the Network and Telephony team in Renton, WA. This role provides Level 1 onsite support and troubleshooting for network and telephony-related issues across multiple locations. The technician will assist with maintenance of LAN, wireless, WAN, and voice/data networks. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and supporting network and telephony hardware and software, including:
- Phones
- Routers
- LAN switches
- Wireless
- Servers
- Backup systems
- Network management and diagnostic tools
Must Haves:
- 2+ years of experience providing onsite field support for hardware and software issues related to Network and Telephony systems.
- Hands-on experience performing onsite hardware work including:
- Installing and replacing devices
- Physically installing new equipment
- Crimping cable ends
- Assisting with OS-related troubleshooting
- Replacing routers, access points, and phones
- Experience installing and supporting Cisco routers and switches.
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated experience providing white glove / customer-facing support.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between the Renton-area Kaiser Permanente locations.
Plusses:
- Experience working with LAN and WAN tools.
- Experience supporting IT systems in hospital or healthcare environments.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (preferred; required for conversion).
