Beacon Hill is hiring! We have partnered with a valued non-profit client in Chicago in hiring an Administrative Assistant to start immediately for a contract role. The Administrative Assistant will support the team with reporting, data analysis, and administrative functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers and maintaining organized systems to support department operations.
Responsibilities:
- Compile, maintain, and analyze data from multiple sources to produce regular and ad-hoc reports
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of data across spreadsheets, databases, and internal platforms
- Support budget tracking, expense reporting, and operational metrics
- Assist in preparing presentations and summaries for leadership and stakeholders
- Perform general administrative duties including scheduling, document preparation, and email correspondence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline reporting processes and improve data workflows
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of administrative or analyst support experience, preferably in a data-heavy environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas) required
- Experience with data tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
