Day to Day: Responsible for provisioning and deploying new devices as part of a PC refresh project; migrating user data and ensuring minimal disruption during transitions; imaging systems and deploying applications using SCCM or Intune; managing user accounts and devices in Active Directory; handling service tickets in ServiceNow; providing technical support to end-users remotely and on-site.
PC Refresh Technician to support a large-scale device refresh initiative. This role will involve provisioning new devices, migrating user data, deploying Windows 11, and ensuring end-users are fully onboarded with minimal disruption. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SCCM, Intune, Active Directory, and ServiceNow, and be comfortable providing both remote and on-site support.
Responsibilities:
- Perform device provisioning and deployment for PC refresh projects
- Migrate user data and configure systems to meet organizational standards
- Support end-user onboarding and ensure smooth transitions to new devices
- Deploy Windows 11 across new and existing hardware
- Utilize SCCM and Intune for imaging, application deployment, and device management
- Manage user, group, and device objects in Active Directory
- Create or modify scripts and package applications as needed
- Use ServiceNow to track and resolve incidents, requests, and asset information
- Provide remote and in-person technical support to users as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with PC refresh or hardware upgrade projects
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11 deployment and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with SCCM and/or Intune
- Familiarity with Active Directory for user and device administration
- Scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and packaging
- Experience using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to support users both remotely and on-site
