Beacon Hill Legal is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support a Business Litigation Practice Group in Uptown Dallas. This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with seasoned attorneys on high-stakes commercial litigation matters in a fast-paced, professional environment. This opportunity is full-time, direct-hire, and fully on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to attorneys handling complex business litigation cases
- Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and briefs with precision
- Manage case deadlines and court filings in both state and federal jurisdictions
- Coordinate client billing, expense reports, and attorney time entries with accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain organized electronic and physical case files using document management systems
- Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and arrange business travel
- Facilitate client communications, including conflict checks, engagement letters, and audit responses
- Support attorneys with CLE tracking and business development initiatives
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ of legal assistant experience in a law firm, with a strong background in commercial or business litigation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Flexibility to work overtime and provide trial support as needed
