- Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy in all entries.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment tracking.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Utilize accounting software such as quickbooks
- Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks related to financial transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to maintain financial stability.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles, debits, credits, and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and payroll management is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software quickbooks
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Monitor subcontractor compliance (insurance, W-9s, lien waivers)
