Temporary Event Coordinator
Location: Denver, CO 80209
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week
Assignment Duration: ASAP through October 31
Work Environment: Hybrid – approx. 50% in-office (Denver) and 50% community-based (local travel to market areas 2x per week)
Position Summary:
We’re seeking a Temporary Event Coordinator to support the planning and execution of community events. This role plays a vital part in coordinating logistics, managing volunteers, and ensuring the smooth execution of multi-site events. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Event Support:
- Coordinate and communicate with volunteers to support event logistics
- Organize and maintain inventory in storage spaces
- Attend planning and committee meetings
- Manage memory mile planning and setup
- Identify and organize signage needs for each event
- Communicate with vendors and coordinate deliverables
- Assist in drafting and preparing program scripts
Event Week Execution:
- Fulfill event packing lists and ensure materials are ready for each site
- Participate in event setup and execution (including Fridays as needed)
- Coordinate supplies and deliveries across multiple event locations
