Hardware Asset Manager:
Must Haves: The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing large-scale hardware and software inventories, including procurement and distribution for thousands of users, and is well-versed in mobile device fleet management, software license administration across multiple vendors and licenses, and asset management tools like ServiceNow.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Manage daily and weekly planning, issue resolution, and escalations to ensure timely procurement and distribution of hardware and software assets
IT Asset Management (ITAM) Manager to lead the daily operations of our asset management team. This role oversees the procurement, distribution, and lifecycle management of hardware, software, and mobile assets across North America. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, planning, and vendor management skills to ensure a seamless end-user experience and strict compliance with service level agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day management of the IT Asset Management staff, including performance oversight, scheduling, and task prioritization.
- Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly operational planning, issue resolution, and escalations.
- Coordinate and manage hardware and software procurement for over 2,500 employees and an inventory of 10,000+ devices.
- Manage shipping and distribution of IT assets while meeting departmental SLAs, with a target of 95% incident resolution success.
- Directly handle VIP and complex asset requests, ensuring accuracy, speed, and white-glove service.
- Administer and maintain software license compliance across 30+ vendors and 4,500+ licenses.
- Manage all aspects of mobile device procurement, activation, and support across North America.
- Oversee registration and renewal of web domains and digital certificates.
- Establish and maintain governance around IT asset management policies – including updates, design, and implementation.
- Develop end-to-end strategies and processes for hardware/software lifecycle management – acquisition, deployment, reclamation, and disposal.
- Conduct ongoing market research and vendor analysis to support procurement decisions.
- Collaborate with IT leadership on cross-functional initiatives that impact end-user experience and support enterprise-wide goals.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in IT Asset Management or related IT operations leadership role
- Experience managing large-scale IT inventories and service teams
- Strong understanding of hardware/software lifecycle management
- Familiarity with ITAM tools, software licensing, and mobile device management
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven ability to meet or exceed service level targets and operational KPIs
- Experience supporting VIP users and high-impact enterprise projects is a plus
