A Non-profit organization located in Schaumburg is looking for a temporary with potential for full-time Project Coordinator. This position will be required to work in-person two times per week or more depending upon the Supervisor’s schedule. Some weekend work may be necessary to assist with live meetings.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist the Education Department with administrative tasks as they relate to in-person lab course preparation and other education-related projects.
- Assist with scheduling, database reporting and input, accuracy review and other project-based work.
- Coordinate and track progress of programs and projects across departments.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, documentation, and status reports.
- Support logistics for virtual and in-person events, board meetings, and committee activities.
- Conduct follow-up on action items from project meetings and track resolutions.
- Help implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a project coordination, administrative, or operations role (nonprofit or healthcare industry experience a plus).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Survey Monkey, JotForm, and Doodle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proofreading/editing skills.
