We are seeking an experienced, self-driven Assistant Manager to join a loans company in downtown Austin. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in customer service and lending who’s ready to step into a busy, client-facing role. This person should have a high degree of professionalism with an ability to problem solve and lead a team in a dynamic environment. Pay is flexible based on experience; $20-26/hr during trial period and $50k once becoming a permanent employee. This person will be in office Monday- Friday 8am-5pm hrs, and will have some remote flexibility once trial period ends.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide customer support in-person and over the phone, handling account questions, payments, and loan documentation.
- Assist with processing loan applications and reviewing customer information.
- Support branch operations with reporting, compliance, and client communication.
- Step in as a leader on the team when needed, assisting with training and oversight.
What We’re Looking For:
- 4-5+ years of customer service experience with strong, stable tenure.
- 2+ years of experience in loans, finance, or a related field.
- Prior experience as an Assistant Manager or Manager in a finance or loan company is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced office.
