Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
* Establish and implement credit policies, procedures and approval limits
* Review and evaluate creditworthiness of potential customers
* Approve or deny credit applications based on risk assessment
* Assess accounts receivable aging reports and direct collection efforts on past-due accounts.
* Manage accounts receivable and monitor customer payment behavior
* Analyze credit data and financial statements
* Set appropriate credit limits for customers
* Maintain customer credit files and documentation
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws
Key Performance Metrics
* Reduction in bad debt write-offs
* Improvement in Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
* Accuracy of credit risk assessments
* Maintenance of healthy cash flow
* Customer satisfaction with credit processes

* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
* 3-5+ years of experience in credit and collections, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
* Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and credit risk assessment
* Experience with collection techniques and relevant laws (FDCPA)
* Proficient in financial analysis and interpreting credit reports
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Strong leadership abilities and conflict resolution skills
* Proficiency with ERP systems, MS Office, and collections software
