Florida based law firm is seeking a Receptionist/Jr Assistant to join their Fort Lauderdale office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and prior law firm experience. This is a fully on-site role offering competitive benefits and great work environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients, visitors, and callers with professionalism and courtesy
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking accurate messages when needed
- Ensure the office remains clean, orderly, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Order catering for meetings and firm office events
- Support legal team with administrative tasks as required (e.g., e-filing)
- Perform other clerical duties as needed to ensure efficient office operation
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Proficiency in proofreading to ensure accuracy in all communications.
- Solid administrative skills with experience in clerical tasks.
- Previous experience in a law firm environment
- Tech savvy
- Knowledge of e-filing
