Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Legal Assistant with a focus on Trusts & Estates to join a respected Fort Worth law firm. This role requires a proactive, polished professional with excellent communication and organizational skills, who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes initiative to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. This opportunity is direct hire, full time, and hybrid following the initial six (6) months of employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents and correspondence
- Communicate directly with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders
- Manage scheduling, deadlines, and administrative tasks
- Maintain and organize client files and records
- Handle transcription, typing, and telephone communications
- Support attorneys in Trusts & Estates matters, including wills, trusts, and probate documentation
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary in a law firm
- Prior experience in Trusts & Estates practice (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Strong typing and transcription skills
- Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal communication
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional demeanor and client-facing confidence
