Job Title: Manufacturing Training Coordinator
Location: Maple Grove, MN and Dayton, MN
Job Summary
Beacon Hill’s client in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a Manufacturing Training Coordinator responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining training and certification processes within the manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with manufacturing leadership and HR to design, implement, and manage effective training programs that ensure employees are skilled, certified, and compliant with organizational and regulatory requirements. The Manufacturing Training Coordinator manages training records, builds learning programs and certifications in Paycom, and monitors training metrics to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with manufacturing leaders and subject matter experts to design, implement, and maintain training curriculum, certification programs, and learning materials.

Coordinate and schedule training sessions, assessments, and recertification activities across manufacturing teams.

Transfer existing training content (e.g., PowerPoints, classroom training, quizzes, OJT, videos) into Paycom’s learning module and collaborate with teams to create new content.

Track, validate, and maintain employee training records, certifications, and skills matrices to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Partner with HR and manufacturing leadership to identify training needs, skill gaps, and recommend solutions.

Prepare and maintain training metrics, reports, and dashboards to track progress, completion, and program effectiveness.

Support audits and inspections by providing accurate training documentation and certification records.

Assist in onboarding new manufacturing employees by coordinating initial training and ensuring role readiness.

Continuously improve training processes, workflows, and resources to optimize employee development and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications
Education:
-
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Training & Development, or related field preferred.
Experience:
-
2+ years of experience in training coordination, HR, or manufacturing operations (manufacturing environment highly preferred).

Experience with training management systems (LMS) and HRIS, preferably Paycom.

Demonstrated ability to create, manage, and track training programs, records, and certifications.

Strong organizational, documentation, and recordkeeping skills with attention to compliance.

Working Conditions

Full-time, onsite role (Maple Grove location, with occasional time at Dayton facility).
