A national law firm seeks a Post Closer to join their team in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

The Real Estate Closer will play a crucial role in managing real estate

transactions, with a focus on mortgage loan closings, title review, and

disbursements. Responsibilities include reviewing and verifying closing

documents for accuracy and compliance, acting as a notary when needed,

and ensuring disbursements align with the Closing Disclosure. The

position also involves e-recording documents, resolving rejected filings,

and tracking post-closing requirements such as title policy issuance.

Coordination with internal teams and external parties like lenders,

brokers, and realtors is essential, as is maintaining accurate records using

tools like iManage and Excel.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least five years of experience as a Post Closer in

real estate, preferably in a legal or title company environment. Strong

organizational skills and attention to detail are critical, along with the

ability to manage multiple transactions efficiently. Proficiency with office

technology and software is required, and familiarity with systems like

SoftPro is preferred. A Florida Notary license (or willingness to obtain

one), solid communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally

with clients and third parties are essential for success in this role.
