A national law firm seeks a Post Closer to join their team in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

The Real Estate Closer will play a crucial role in managing real estate |
|
transactions, with a focus on mortgage loan closings, title review, and |
|
disbursements. Responsibilities include reviewing and verifying closing |
|
documents for accuracy and compliance, acting as a notary when needed, |
|
and ensuring disbursements align with the Closing Disclosure. The |
|
position also involves e-recording documents, resolving rejected filings, |
|
and tracking post-closing requirements such as title policy issuance. |
|
Coordination with internal teams and external parties like lenders, |
|
brokers, and realtors is essential, as is maintaining accurate records using |
|
tools like iManage and Excel. |
Requirements:
|
Candidates must have at least five years of experience as a Post Closer in |
|
real estate, preferably in a legal or title company environment. Strong |
|
organizational skills and attention to detail are critical, along with the |
|
ability to manage multiple transactions efficiently. Proficiency with office |
|
technology and software is required, and familiarity with systems like |
|
SoftPro is preferred. A Florida Notary license (or willingness to obtain |
|
one), solid communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally |
|
with clients and third parties are essential for success in this role. |
